Since 1982, Camp Happy Days (CHD) has been providing children affected by pediatric cancer the opportunity to feel normal and participate in activities they otherwise could not. Through camp and year-round programs, children with cancer and their siblings learn new skills, build meaningful relationships, face challenges, and overcome fears—gaining confidence and self-esteem along the way.
CHD’s programs are designed for all ages and abilities, ensuring every child and family feels supported on their journey. The bonds formed through these experiences provide lasting encouragement and hope.
We are honored to welcome Mikaela Nichols, Development Director of Camp Happy Days, as our guest speaker. Mikaela will share how CHD’s mission is changing lives across South Carolina and how the community can help support children and families facing pediatric cancer.
By focusing on team-building, social inclusion, and emotional and physical support, CHD continues to improve the overall well-being of children battling cancer—one child, one family, and one moment at a time.
