Charlie E. Ledford is the President and CEO of Ledford’s Termite & Pest Control, a staple of the South Carolina business community for over five decades. A second-generation leader, Charlie’s journey in the industry began alongside his father, Charles R. Ledford (familiarly known as “Big Foot”), first at Terminix and later as a college student assisting in the early days of the family’s independent venture.

In 1977, Charlie stepped into the role of President following his father’s health challenges, taking the helm of a budding local business and transforming it into a regional powerhouse. Under his leadership, Ledford’s has seen exponential growth—expanding from a small family operation to a team of 30 dedicated employees and successfully entering the Columbia market in 2004.

Deeply committed to the company’s heritage, Charlie is proud to lead a true multi-generational legacy. Today, he works alongside the third generation of the Ledford family, ensuring that the same principles of service and integrity established in 1975 continue to protect homes across the Lowcountry and beyond.
